My name is Andrew and I am in need of help - a miracle maybe.

   Despite being only 20 years old my life is already out of control. For the first time in my life I have criminal charges against me. For many years I have struggled with drugs and have been unable to escape their insidious grasp. They were a way for me to cope with negative feelings and insecurities. I am not a bad person - I just made bad decisions.

I know I have potential.

   I'm a compassionate, smart, caring young man. I have always hoped to take on a career helping others, but now I realize that I also need others' help.

   Upon my arrest, my father's house was raided and much of the property was seized bringing him great shame. The financial burden of my bail was enough to tap my and my family's financial resources and I am still in need of decent legal representation. Without this Virginia's court system is sure to throw me into prison -- possibly for LIFE.

   I am at a loss as to where I can come up with the money to pay for a lawyer as it could be more than $20,000.

I am in desperate need of your help.

   I am aware that everything in life happens for a reason and I hold no resentments toward anyone, not even the individual who set me up and initiated the arrest.

   The hardest thing of all has been trying to forgive myself for being so ignorant, foolish, and selfish.

   However, this incident has taught me a lot about myself and life. I have learned patience and the value of self reflection, the dangers of hubris, and the distinct character of honor. I have also learned the power of forgiveness, love, and respect...

   ... and the Dedication and Desire to positively influence the world.

   I understand now that I have come to this world on a mission, one that I have strayed far from. I am finding out my personal truths and how I can contribute to the salvation of this world. I am so grateful to be a sentient being in physical form so eager to help my fellow man. I am living my life day to day focusing on how I can make this moment better then the last; living for others, focusing on the big picture, loving my neighbor, and teaching my friends.

   There is no force more powerful than love and no action more admirable then forgiveness. The power is great enough to cure cancer and end oppression.

   Please join me in the salvation of our world, and please help save me! I love you, my brothers and sisters, and I am asking for a miracle!
